Some dogs need extra help which goes beyond the realms of that which could be described as training.
I can assess your dog, liaise with your Veterinary Surgeon, advise on a course of modification protocols, provide you with a full written report and as many back up sessions or telephone support as needed.
Examples of behaviours requiring modification include:
-
Dog to dog aggression
-
Dog to human fear/ uncertainty/ aggression
-
Pet to pet aggression
-
Chasing behaviours (livestock/ bicycles/ joggers)
-
Obsessive behaviours (fixating/ air snapping/ licking/ pacing)
-
Separation issues
-
Destructive behaviours
-
Guarding behaviours (people/ toys/ food)
All behaviour consultations will need to be preceded by a veterinary visit in order to rule out any physiological reason for the behaviour, such as ill health or pain.
Initial behaviour consultations are charged at £198.00, which includes a two-hour consult plus a behaviour report. Subsequent training sessions are charged at the basic training rate of £70.00 per hour.
A travel cost of £0.45 per mile will also be charged.
